I have hiked in Daley Ranch many times over a period of years, and I had compiled a trail map. Recently, I noticed that my map had become a little outdated. The official trail map shows two trails that didn't exist when I last surveyed the ranch. They are the Quail Run Trail and the Stanley Peak Trail. The latter seemed especially intriguing.

I surveyed these two trails on my mountain bike (walking my bike through the steep or rough areas).

Quail Run Trail is a single-track, although it appears to have been built on top of an old road alignment in some places. Stanley Peak Trail is a dirt road, rather steep in places, but probably driven occasionally by park rangers in a four-wheel-drive vehicle. The views from Stanley Peak are worth the climb.
