On October 17, 2011, I surveyed some of the trails in Guajome County Park (also called Guajome Regional Park) on my mountain bike.
I parked at the new Mance Buchanan Park on College Blvd. near the San Luis Rey River and rode to Guajome Park on a fairly new portion of the San Luis Rey River Bike Path.
The topographic map is of limited use because many roads in the area were built or moved after the most recent revision. However, it does confirm my observation that a trail next to Guajome Lake is an older alignment of Highway 76.
